Intensity II Non-Competitive Level CLICK HERE TO REGISTER IDA APPAREL 2023 2024 IDA Shoe List Download Fall Schedule Intensity I is our non-competitive level designed for the dancer who wants to gain skill and confidence in one or more areas of dance. Our Spring Showcase will be held annually to provide a unique performance opportunity for all students. Conventions and Master Classes will also be offered to this level throughout the season. Missed Classes: When a student is absent from class, please see the front desk to get a list of available make up times. Inclement Weather Cancellation: Intensity Dance Academy will follow the Mars Area school district cancellation when pertaining to snow cancellation. If school is closed due to low temperatures, a decision will be made by 11:00 AM as to class cancellation. Tuition: Tuition is due on the 1st of the month. Payments received after the 10th of the month will be charged a $15 late fee. IDA tuition is based on a 10 month payment plan. First payment is due upon registration, then due September 1st through May 1st. Registration fees and first month tuition are non-refundable. We accept cash, checks, Visa, Master Card and Discover. You have the option to pay through the customer portal on our website or at the front desk. Apparel: Team apparel is available to all students at IDA. All apparel orders will be available online only. Performance Costumes: All students at Intensity Dance Academy will participate in a Spring Showcase. Intensity I students will have costumes in the following classes: Pre-dance, Creative Movement, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet/Pointe, and Hip-Hop. Leaps and Turns and Acro/Tumbling classes will not have showcase routines.  Please have your costume balance paid by October 15th to ensure your child’s costume is ordered. Dress Code: Please have your child wear appropriate dance attire to all classes: black dance shorts, sports bra/tank or leotard. Please see a list of shoes for your child’s class and level. Food and Drink: Students are permitted to bring water into their classroom to remain hydrated during their class. Please no flavored or colored drinks in studio rooms. Food should be contained at all times in designated eating areas (If your Child has a food allergy please notify the front desk upon registration). Respect Code: Our studio is a place where all dancers will feel safe and accepted, with a sense of belonging. As such, IDA enforces a non-bullying environment.

We welcome all ages and levels of dancers, and strive to provide the most positive and memorable experience for all of our students. We offer two levels of Intensity to meet the needs of all our dancers. Intensity I is  our non-competitive level and Intensity II is our competitive level.
