"Some Day" Age-7 Small Group Lyrical Choreography: Tina Kay
Previous experience required. This level is by evaluation/recommendation only. Dancers in this level must take all styles offered.
Ages 20 months to 35 months. Introduction to dance and movement. Ages 3-4. No previous training needed. Emphasis is on creative movement.
COMPANY MINI 5-6 Ages 6-7. 1 year experience in Company Mini 5-6. For Students in kindergarten and 1st grade. We offer classes in the following styles: Ballet/Tap Combo, Jazz/Hip Hop Combo, Acro.

Ballet- Ballet emphasizes grace, balance, posture, flexibility and technique. Our training is based mainly on the French and Russian methods of technique. Students who are proficient in Ballet will advance to Pointe.
Company Mini 3-4- Basic steps and movements that create a strong foundation for all styles of dance. (will need tap and ballet shoes for this level)
Company Mini 5-6- Basic steps and movements in ballet, tap, jazz, and acro that create a strong foundation for each dancer. (will need ballet and tap shoes for this level)
Jazz- Jazz classes explore traditional and contemporary styles in a fun and energetic atmosphere. Students will learn fundamental Jazz steps, body placement and coordination while learning combinations in these classes. Lyrical/Contemporary- The art of using emotions and incorporating ballet and contemporary techniques to tell a story.
Tap- The art of using the feet to create rhythm, musicality and percussive sounds. Students will explore fundamental tap steps and learn tap terminology while maintaining correct body placement.
Hip-Hop- Hip-Hop dance refers to high-energy dance styles primarily danced to hip hop music.
Leaps and Turns- Detailed technique in which the dancer is performing a sequence of movements while still in the air or while turning.
Acro- Acrobatics adds a layer of gymnastics technical skill on top of flexiblity, grace and dance technique. Acro focuses on slow and controlled movement while executing flexible gymnastic technique.
Tumbling- Gymnastic floor tricks are taught using power, balance and agility.
